For obvious reasons, I had steered clear of Blair’s for quite sometime. However, I couldn’t be true to my peppery roots unless I joined the club.
My first run-in was nothing short of incredibly HOT. It has a hard pepper flavor with a very strong bite. This sauce is in a category with the sauces like Dave’s. Generally, I am cautious of extract based sauces, but this one is one of the few exceptions. Although not generally acceptable as a tabletop condiment, Blair’s Sudden Death is great for cooking. Use in chili, wing sauce, or to kick up salsa. I also put it on my hot dogs. Now I’m off to try more of Blair’s sauces.
Both flavor and heat are top notch.
